Sealutions Ltd are marine surveyors delivering professional yacht, motor yacht and power boat surveys and consulting services. We are based in Port Solent, Portsmouth making ideally situated to provide a prompt service to all locations on the South Coast including the River Hamble, Southsea, Emsworth, Bosham, Chichester, Brighton, Fareham, Gosport, Southampton, Hythe, Bucklers Hard, Lymington, Christchurch Poole, and Cowes, although we offer surveys in any part of the UK or abroad on all types of GRP/FRP craft up to 24 metres (80 feet).

Our principal marine surveyor is a qualified member of the  International Institute of Marine Surveyors (IIMS) and a registered member of the International Register of Marine Surveyors (IRMS). Full worldwide professional insurance is maintained.

Pre-purchase surveys  Needed when buying a boat and includes advise and assistance in the buying process and a valuation.

Insurance/Condition Surveys Required by insurance companies from time to time at insurance renewal.

Valuations  Required by solicitors and financial institutions.

Hull Condition Surveys Similar to a pre-purchase survey but only covers the hull. For very experienced boat owners. You will need to check that the survey meets insurers requirements.

Osmosis Surveys Checking of hull for possible osmosis and advise on action to take if osmosis is present.

Oil or Diesel Analysis  Analysis of engine oil to determine internal condition of engine without dismantling. Analysis of diesel for diesel bug or other contaminants. 

Damage Repair Surveys  Inspection to ascertain extent of damage following an accident.

Expert Witness  Independent expert witness advise by experienced Marine Surveyor.

Sea Trials  Taking a vessel to sea and checking performance and/or items that cannot be checked ashore.

Tonnage Surveys for registration Required for Part 1 Shipping Registry. 

Project Management  Professional management of large repairs and other projects.

Marine Consultation  Help and advise on boat and marine related matters.

Inspections for Overseas Clients  Acting as potential overseas buyers eyes when considering purchasing a boat in UK to save costly travel and possible disappointment. 

Yacht Delivery and Assistance  Assistance in delivery and/or boat tuition.
